Stock Option Trading

There are two types of option contracts :

• call options
• put options

A Call option is a contract that gives right to the owner to buy stocks at strike price before expiration date.

A put option is a contract that gives right to the owner to sell stocks at strike price before expiration date.

If we think the stock price would go up, which options should we use ? call options

If we think the stock price would go down, which options should we use ? put options
